Maryam Monsef must immediately resign or be swiftly booted out of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s cabinet..When she softly appealed to the Taliban as “our brothers,” the Women and Gender Equality minister disgraced Canada on the world stage..The wretched message she sent to those barbarians on behalf of Canada is chilling, inexcusable..Was it a calculated message? She read from prepared notes..She betrayed all women, especially the women and children in Afghanistan being raped, beaten, tortured, and hiding in terror from these blood-thirsty barbarians..She betrayed our Afghan vets who fought these demons and have the missing limbs and scarred minds and hearts to prove it..She betrayed us all..Does this woman have no conscience?.Has she not seen the carnage and terror going on now at the hands of the Taliban?.Of course, she has. .Then the coward backtracked, offering a disingenuous explanation for her gentle words to murderous thugs, thinking she could fool us..“I want to take this opportunity to speak to our brothers, the Taliban. We call on you to ensure the safe and secure passage of any individual in Afghanistan out of the country,” said Monsef..She made the comment as four cabinet ministers were updating the situation on the ground in Afghanistan..What speaks volumes is none of the Liberal cabinet ministers jumped in to object to the Taliban being embraced as our brothers..“We call on you to immediately stop the violence. The genocide, the femicide, the destruction of infrastructure including heritage buildings.”.Then she politely asked the Taliban to return to the negotiated peace deal and be sure to take care of women and minorities..If it was anybody else, it might be believed they made a stupid, naive mistake..Monsef, of all people, knows better..This would be the woman who was touted as the first Afghan-born member of Parliament, who later got caught in the lie. She is Iranian-born..She knows the Taliban have no respect for women. .She knows they’ll laugh at her, a mere woman, rather than take her ridiculous pleas to heart. .She knows they’ll negotiate, then lie, then carry on sweeping across Afghanistan in violent murderous sprees..Yet, when Blacklock’s Reporter Tom Korksi challenged her, offering her the chance to withdraw her remark, she declined..Of course, she did..“The reference to brothers is a cultural reference of course, but let me be clear: We do not support the Taliban.
