Apparently, that whole Freedom Convoy thing was one honking big ruse. The protesters had a secret agenda, according to internal reports obtained by Blacklock’s Reporter..So-called ‘analysis’ concluded truckers and supporters didn’t make the tough trek from across Canada to Ottawa last February to protest COVID-19 vaccine mandates and alarming government overreach. It wasn’t a fight to protect bodily autonomy and the right to work, after all. It was really just a scheme by devious “right-wing Christians” to lure naïve Canadians into attending a huge come-to-Jesus sort of revival. Aha! All that horn honking, under the guise of trucker tradition, must have been code — blast ‘er once for amen, twice for hallelujah..The stealth crusade was so cleverly orchestrated, even Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was duped into believing the Freedom Convoy protesters were “racists and Nazis.” The whole lot of them — including Jews, Sikhs, Muslims, blacks, indigenous, and other ethnic participants proudly waving Canadian flags. But they didn’t fool Ottawa police consulting agency Advanced Symbolics Inc. or CEO Erin Kelly who was hired to analyze the protests..“Given that today is the lord’s (sic) day, we are starting to see some of the real agenda here,” wrote Kelly in a February 6 email to several recipients, including former Ottawa police chief Peter Sloly. “Attached are religious images being passed around on social media among the ‘protesters.’”.“More evidence that it isn’t really about vaccine mandates. It’s a movement by right-wing Christians who used mandates as a pretence to gain a following and privileged access as ‘protesters.’”.Well, doesn’t that just ooze with snotty elitism and a lack of understanding that the ‘privilege’ of accessing Parliament grounds belongs to all Canadians. Kelly concluded, with no explanation as to why, that “no one would have come” if those convoy organizers had invited folks to “join us for a Christian rally in Ottawa.” No one? Not even one of the 53.3% — more than 19 million — Canadians who identified as Christians in the 2021 Census?.What a dismissive insult this was to the non-Christian protesters. If Kelly was right, why wasn’t there a mass exodus of Jews, Sikhs, Muslims, and other non-Christians who broke bread at barbecues with Christians after they caught on to the alleged scheme to entrap and maybe try to convert them?.Could it be because that’s not what was happening since they were all united in the intent of the protest designed to fight for basic rights? And that Canadians beyond the Liberal and NDP-dominated corridors of Parliament respect all citizens’ rights to religious freedom? Even Christians..What was Kelly paid by taxpayers to peruse social media and arrive at that crackerjack analysis that Christians observe the Lord’s Day? It’s so easy to be a careless armchair quarterback about why people are fighting not to lose their jobs and homes when one can depend on a likely rather handsome government paycheque..Throughout it all, politicians, analysts and Liberal bought-off media hellbent on smearing the mission, threw accusations like spaghetti against the wall, hoping something would stick to demonize Freedom Convoy protesters. It was an effort to distract from the real issues — Canadian rights were/are still under siege..But when on the government payroll, its best to tell the Liberals what they want to hear. Coupled with perhaps some personal prejudices — who knows? — the truth be damned..It’s alarming that targeting Christians would be so casually acceptable. But not surprising..Trudeau’s disdain and disrespect for Christian values — as evidence by his policies and his own words — makes pinning the blame on Christians a nice fit for the Liberal agenda. In 2019, Trudeau told Canadian Baptist Pastor Steve Long that “evangelical Christians are the worst part of Canadian society.”.Meanwhile, Sloly’s response to Kelly was all the evidence needed to conclude he made the right decision to resign on February 15. “These are really important insights,” wrote Sloly in an email, adding that the info should be shared with police managers. Those poor police managers, having their time wasted like that..But analysis provided by Advanced Symbolics Inc. would only prove that Trudeau underestimated the intelligence of the Freedom Convoy protesters when he said they “are not very smart people.”.A document produced in the [War Measures] Act Inquiry revealed that Trudeau suggested to Ontario Premier Doug Ford that the protesters weren’t smart enough to stage a successful protest..No way! The brilliance of this covert religious conquering op was dazzling. These undercover Crusaders cleverly opted to wear baseball caps and toques instead of iron helmets, and jeans, jackets and mittens instead of head-to-toe mail. Nope, no massive broadswords were hauled into the Capital either. Or firearms. Just tire irons that the Inquiry heard could be used as weapons. They weren’t, but they could be. What utter genius using those big rigs as an excuse to pack tire irons..Perhaps there was an underlying gripping fear that the Christians would launch an attack by sprinkling Holy water on people..One must wonder if that sort of severe threat would compel someone to refuse to meet with them and then flee into hiding in an undisclosed location..Was that potential danger a factor in justifying invoking the authoritarian [War Measures] Act and bringing in battalions of armed police in head-to-toe protective heart in to crush the protesters? No other acceptable, credible reason was offered. Certainly not any that anyone believed and few accepted..But back to that sterling analysis by Kelly. Someone should clue her in to the fact that Christians and non-Christian alike will rise up when fools get in the way of their ability to put food on the table. No matter who they kneel to everybody needs to eat..Someone should also tell Kelly that Christians don’t only share religious images during protests, or on the Lord’s Day..Honk. Honk honk.
