You might think such a thing didn't exist in Nazi Germany but there was tremendous pushback from families affected by the program and by prominent Catholic and Protestant clergy. Makes you wonder if the Holocaust could have been arrested as well if enough people had cared for the well-being of the Jews.Lametti claimed his new-found prudence was motivated by a respect for public opinion. During the interview, Ingraham, who was clearly very aware of the policy, talked about how Les Landry, a Canadian homeless man, is seeking assisted suicide because of his economic conditions and he is well on his way to obtaining approval.Then there are those wounded warriors about whom my colleague Linda Slobodian wrote recently, that Veterans Affairs suggested could just end their lives rather than endure the pain.What a heartless bunch of woke dolts."Where are all the mental health advocates?"
