In fact it's always been about losing faith in the Canadian justice system because we all know she's been treated in such a flagrantly mean-spirited fashion because Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson and the entire Ottawa establishment is furious February’s Freedom Convoy was a huge political success and demonstrated just how soulless and political impoverished the federal government and the nation’s capital can be when it sees blue collar protesters who refuse to get with the elite’s program..The most impressive moment of Tuesday’s decision was when Goodman ordered the court security to take the chains off of Lich’s body..“Take those shackles off,” he said, apparently just as fed up as the rest of us are with this legal charade that purports Lich to be a danger to society..Another fine moment was to hear Lich’s lawyer, Lawrence Greenspon, say “Enough is enough.”.“The justice must be careful not to play the role of trial judge or jury (during the bail phase),” Goodman said..Those matters “must be analyzed at trial, not at the release hearing.”.Harris suggested Lich made an “absolutely ridiculous” assessment of her non-contact order when she went to accept a free speech award and Goodman cited Harris for making multiple “errors of law” in his decision and suggested the justice of the peace was only exacerbating an already fragile situation by being deliberately hostile to Lich and her presumed motivation..What is amazing is the mainstream media appears to be catching on to the game here and are being allowed to disseminate the truth..Most of the stories I read of Goodman’s decision could be classified as fair reporting, and clearly this is a judge who will not bow to political pressure, but takes his judicial responsibilities very seriously. .That is very refreshing to see in this increasingly woke city of Ottawa. .So should we be encouraged by Goodman’s decision?.Absolutely, because he's shown the faith and courage to expose — in the most diplomatic, legal terms possible — what Lich endured since her arrest..It is emblematic of the change that can still occur in Canada if we decide to take back our country..The courts and the police don’t have to be politicized as long as brave people still exist who say 'no.'.Canada is not stuck indefinitely with Justin Trudeau and Liberal government that lies about its political enemies and covers up its actions to discredit those enemies. .There is a movement afoot in Canada — you saw it during the Freedom Convoy.
