CALGARY, AB: WEXIT Alberta Executive Director Peter Downing says that he is in active talks with several Conservative MPs about forming a new Western-based party. .Downing says that he is close to gathering the signatures necessary to register a party with Elections Canada under the name “WEXIT Canada.”.According to Downing there is a “good, to highly likely chance,” that the new party will see at least one Conservative MP join its ranks as it attempts to get off the ground. .
