Elaine Gallaway was fed up and not going to take it anymore..The 73-year-old was tired of shoplifters causing prices to go up at her local Campbell River Walmart, so when she saw a thief trying to make off with a cartful of groceries, she flew into action..The January 29 incident was all caught on video as she ripped the balaclava off the hapless thief and get him a piece of her mind..The drama began when the masked thief approached the front door and was asked by the cameraman if he intended to pay for the groceries..He mumbled “yeah,” but kept making his way to the door..That’s when Gallalway blocked his escape with her own shopping cart..“I’m fed up with this,” she exclaimed, as she reached up to tear off the crook’s mask..“Take that f——— mask off, ass—-. Goddamn thief..The now-unmasked crook gets in a tug-of-war with Gallaway who told him to: “F—- off, ass——.”.The thief then gives up and grabs his knapsack out of the trolley and leaves, with his ears burning..“You jack up the price for everybody else because of you ass—-.”.“About time they got caught.”.The video has since gone viral with more than one million clicks..“As I was walking out the door he was trying to run out with a full grocery cart of items.
