If people are not generally educated, he said they will be a “useless, resentful, bitter, pointless, counterproductive lump.” .According to Peterson, that is not a good strategy. When people think, their stupid thoughts die instead of them. .If people get to the upper echelons of any hierarchy, he said they will encounter those who know plenty about a number of topics. If they are stupid and have no general knowledge, he said experts will look at them and not value them. .He said people need to be encultured to play with brilliant thinkers and to be informed with the greatest ideas of history so whatever problem they are tackling, they have tools to tackle it. Once Peterson Academy is well developed, they can take these courses and will not be complete embarrassments. .Peterson’s daughter Mikhaila said she finds it cruel people are told they have to go to university. .“They have to spend $100,000 to $200,000 to get a degree so they can get a job,” said Mikhaila. .“Otherwise, they’re screwed.” .While it is a scam, Mikhaila said it “bothers me that people are being scammed to learn to not believe in themselves, assume that they can’t fix their problems, and then hate their country basically.”.She said it would be funny to blow up the university system. .This is because of what it did to him. She pointed out he was alienated out of his job. .Jordan said in 2022 he had resigned as a psychology professor at the University of Toronto. .“I had envisioned teaching and researching at the U of T, full time, until they had to haul my skeleton out of my office,” he said. .“I loved my job.”.Jordan acknowledged employers will be fortunate if Peterson Academy can provide a list of people who have graduated. If employers had any sense, he said they would employ them because it did the rigorous screening work. .For people with these degrees, he said it will signify high-level conscientiousness and general cognitive ability.
