A masked man with an automatic weapon shot through the driver's window, while another gunman opened fire from the rear..A woman is shown escaping out of the passenger's side as seen in the video, which appears to be shot from a garage surveillance camera..After the shooting, the gunman with the automatic weapon is shown crawling underneath the rear of the car. Police sources said that was likely to retrieve a track device attached to the car, showing the extreme planning in the crime..The pair then escape to a waiting black pickup truck..Nguyen was released from prison in April after being convicted in 2012 of “conspiracy to commit murder and counselling an indictable offence which was not committed,” said RCMP in a statement..Nguyen was been convicted of previous charges including firearms offences, assault of a peace officer and failing to comply with his release conditions..The RCMP said “after careful deliberation,” it was decided to issue a warning in the “interest of public safety” and in “consideration of all related issues.”.“The RCMP believes that there is a risk of significant harm to the health and safety of the public,” said the statement..“Members of the public are advised the intent of the process is to enable members of the public to take suitable precautionary measures and not to embark on any form of vigilante action.”.“Anyone believing that a crime has been or is about to be committed is encouraged to call police.
