The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare admitted it bought porn literacy materials from health equity charity ETR to be given to elementary and high school students. .“We can promote a shame-free educational space where we can let young people know it’s OK if you’re curious, it’s OK if they have watched porn, and it’s OK if they have thought about porn,” said one lady affiliated with ETR in a Tuesday video..The lady said a person being curious about sex or porn does not make him or her terrible. She said wanting to know about porn is “a natural human experience.” .The lady went on to say kids should be told not wanting to watch porn is also fine. She added there should be no judgment or shame for not being curious. .Another lady who works as an educator with ETR said she's responsible for teaching kids about sexual health. .“Critical thinking skills are the largest component of porn literacy,” said the teacher. .“It’s the ability for young people to analyze and ask questions about the media they’re dealing with.” .The first lady said sex education depends on values and beliefs to a topic.
