Cochrane RCMP are investigating after four suspects were involved in a break-in to a residence in the Rivercrest Boulevard area in the town on Sunday. .Residential doorbell cameras captured a male approach the front door of the residence and enter the main floor of the home, according to a Sunday press release. The release said this suspect left with a family bag, keys to the victims’s vehicles, personal items in the bag, and an RCMP badge. .A video over the driveway shows two additional suspects coming from a waiting SUV down the street. The three suspects enter the victims’s vehicles in the driveway and flee. . This suspect was wearing a Gucci hoodie, a watch with a large circular face, dark thick framed glasses, a black bandana covering the lower part of his face, white running shoes with black laces, and blue jeans. .He held a small flashlight in his left hand. He entered the front door of the residence and fled driving the victims’s Dodge Ram truck. .The second suspect is described as a male 5-ft. 6-in to 5-in. 8-in., 160 to 175 lbs. This suspect wore a windbreaker with a hood up over a baseball cap. .He draped a shoulder bag over his chest and a backpack over his back. He entered the victims’s Kia Telluride SUV and fled. .The third suspect is believed to be a male 5-ft. 8-in. to 5-ft. 10-in., 160 to 175 lbs. This suspect wore a black hoodie and a face mask. .He entered the passenger side of the Dodge Ram and fled with the first suspect. . The items are described as a black 2019 Dodge Ram with Alberta licence plate BCJ3641, a grey 2022 Kia Telluride with Alberta licence plate BXZ5040, and a gold-plated RCMP crested badge with employee identification..The release said Cochrane RCMP have no reason to believe this incident was targeted or the thieves knew a police identification and badge would be in the bag.
