Toronto police have published images to help with the investigation of a girl whose dead body was found in a dumpster in May. .The press release said a post-mortem revealed the human remains were of a female between four to seven years old. A rapid analysis was conducted by the Ontario Centre for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains to assist with finding potential matches of missing children..Toronto police homicide and missing persons Insp. Hank Idsinga said the analysis identified 58 missing children cases from across Canada for investigative consideration. Idsinga said his office contacted the lead investigator of every case to gather further details..He said several children on the list were reported to be in other countries involved in a parental abduction or custody dispute. He added there are no links to any of the 58 missing persons cases. .“In fact, eight of the 58 have now been accounted for since May 2,” he said. .“Unfortunately, we believe that it is unlikely that the child located on Dale Ave. has ever been reported missing.”.The girl is described as a 3-ft. 6-in., black girl with black curly hair sectioned into ponytails and all of her teeth. .Idsinga said Toronto police have identified a vehicle they want to locate. .He said this vehicle is captured on video stopping on Dale Avenue near the dumpster on April 28. He went on to say the vehicle stays stopped for 21 seconds. .The vehicle is described as a dark-coloured Porsche Cayenne SUV, model year between 2011 and 2014. .“We hope that someone might recognize the vehicle or witnessed it in the area that night,” said Idsinga. .Toronto police discovered the body on May 2. .Homicide investigators had been assigned to the case and were cross-referencing descriptions of the child with missing persons across Canada, but acknowledge she might not have been reported missing. .“Our first priority now is to establish the identity of this little girl,” said Idsinga. .“The investigators will leave no stone unturned.”
