A $100,000 reward is now being offered for his capture..On Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, on a quiet day in Monterey Park, a peaceful neighbourhood of Calgary, the police received several calls reporting multiple gunshots in the 100 block of Del Ray Road. At the scene, first responders found a young man in an alleyway suffering gunshot wounds..Hussein Merhi, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe Merhi was the victim of a targeted attack orchestrated by at least two individuals who fled the scene in a dark-coloured Ford Escape..Granado is wanted by the CPS on a Canada-wide warrant for first-degree murder. Police said he's been evading arrest since charges were laid against him in July 2019..The BOLO Program announced Tuesday Granado moved to the second spot in their list of Canada’s Top 25 Most Wanted and has added a second Calgary suspect, Talal Amer to their list in the sixth spot..He has been identified to be working with and associated to the FK gang in Calgary..The CPS said Granado is from Calgary and he has strong ties to the city. Investigators believe he may be living in the Greater Toronto Area under a false identity, evading arrest with Tommy Ngo, another individual wanted for murder by the Toronto Police Service..A reward of $50,000 is also being offered for tips leading to the arrest of Amer..On May 10, 2022, the CPS received multiple reports of two vehicles that were driving erratically along 36 Street S.E., while involved in a shooting. The vehicles collided with two additional uninvolved vehicles in the intersection of 36 Street and 17 Avenue S.E., and one suspect fled the scene. .The incident resulted in the death of Angela McKenzie, 40, a driver of one of the uninvolved vehicles. Several homes were also struck by gunfire during the incident. .Amer, 29, of Calgary, is wanted on seven Canada-wide warrants in relation to this incident, including manslaughter, attempted murder, reckless discharge of a firearm, possession of a prohibited firearm with an obliterated serial number, unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of a prohibited firearm and possession of a prohibited device..Amer is described as approximately 5-ft. 11-ins., 230 lbs., with brown eyes and brown hair. ."This death of Angela McKenzie was tragic and will continue to have a lasting impact on Calgarians," Staff Sgt.
