Campaign Life Coalition (CLC) said social conservatives need to set their sights on defeating Bill 42, which will provide gender affirming healthcare in Ontario. .“It has the exact same wording, and it is directed to the same insidious purpose: Bill 42 will speed more gender-confused youth and adults into irreversible, mutilating sex-change treatments, paid for with more of our tax dollars,” said CLC Campaigns Manager David Cooke in a Monday blog post. .The blog post said Bill 42’s predecessor, Bill 17, was stopped when the Ontario Legislature was dissolved in May. It remains on first reading vote. .Cooke said Bill 42 will “radically sexualize our Ontario healthcare system, prioritizing elective transgender procedures while hospital wait times skyrocket and essential surgeries continue to be delayed.”.The blog post said Ontario Premier Doug Ford and the provincial government appear to be on board with this proposal.
