Alberta United Conservative Party candidate Rebecca Schulz (Calgary-Shaw) said she has heard a number of concerns about the city cancelling fireworks for Canada Day. .“This is a decision obviously made by the City of Calgary,” said Schulz at a Thursday press conference. .“I for one think Albertans do like the opportunity to come together and celebrate Canada Day including fireworks.” .Schulz said she has heard that from people about the fireworks while canvassing.
