Olds RCMP are looking for a suspect after someone covered a Pride street crossing with skid marks. .Olds RCMP were called in July by security guards at Olds College, located about 60 km south of Red Deer, AB, that a vehicle was making tire marks on the campus Pride crosswalk. .The vehicle making the tire marks was a maroon Dodge pickup truck. .It said it is allegedly not the first time this vehicle has been seen leaving tire marks at this location. .Olds RCMP are looking to speak with the driver of this truck. If anyone has any information about the driver or this vehicle, they are asked to contact the Alberta RCMP at (403) 556-3323 or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477. .The Pride crosswalk in Lethbridge, AB, was defaced with streaks of black rubber in May. .Less than one month after it was first painted, tire treads in multiple traffic lanes were visible over the permanent display. .“Ultimately, the vandalism is very discouraging to the community,” said Lethbridge Pride Society chair Lane Sterr.
