One man from Parkland County is dead after his boat capsized on Wabamun Lake..On Saturday, July 16, the Parkland RCMP received the report.."Upon arrival, the Wabamun fire department had retrieved one individual from the water," Corporal Troy Savinkoff from RCMP media relations said. "Unfortunately, the victim who was identified as a 56-year-old male from Parkland County was deceased.".It is believed that the victim was participating in a training exercise with a local volunteer group. ."Although the RCMP are still investigating, they do not believe that the death is suspicious," Corporal Savinkoff said..RCMP has not released the name of the victim..Wabamun Lake is one of the most heavily used lakes in Alberta. It lies 65 kilometres west of Edmonton.
