An Ottawa resident has been acquitted of charges for violating an 8 p.m. curfew the Quebec government imposed while he was travelling through Gatineau, QC, said the Democracy Fund (TDF). .A Tuesday release said the man, who hasn't been identified was charged after he left his residence to buy an asthma inhaler from a pharmacy. It said he was outside his residence for 30 minutes past curfew when police detained and ticketed him. .The release went on to say TDF hired Legal Logic lawyer Christina Muccari to defend the man against these charges.
