“Guilt has been weaponized in our culture” Jordan Peterson.Jordan Peterson’s statement clearly states what is wrong in modern society..If you are successful, it’s because the system is rigged in your favour..Not because you worked hard or have a particular talent that others don’t have..Whether it be professionally, personally, or academically, the only way you could have made those achievements is because of discrimination against someone else that you are not responsible for or even know about..Maybe your ancestors owned slaves. That doesn’t mean you own slaves or endorse what they did..Somehow, you are still responsible..That’s nuts..Societies are constantly evolving and the norms change..We completely outlawed slavery in the developed world..Now instead of slavery, there’s systemic racism, where the systems in place such as education are “rigged” towards the white students. Some schools have started using a grading system that penalizes white kids’ marks and bumps up non-white kids’ marks..The white kids are being penalized because the system is rigged in their favour and they are being told that they are racist..A lawsuit was filed against a New Jersey school district over a new curriculum that teaches “racial political ideology” and creates a “hostile educational environment” for white students..The lawsuit says they have racially discriminated against the white students with the new curriculum..School Principal Frank Sanchez told students to attend Black Lives Matter protests with a “call to arms” speech..They taught white students that they play “roles in perpetuating racism” and when parents complained about the curriculum. They were completely ignored..Sanchez defended the new curriculum to NJ.com. .“I provided my students and parents with resources for them to be able to have conversations with their children about such a traumatic event they witnessed, home alone. I find the complaint is not honest. It’s not something that should be taken seriously by the courts.” Sanchez told NJ.com..But the school district is teaching that the white students are playing “roles in perpetuating racism.” So, just because they were born white, they are automatically guilty..This is completely ridiculous! .But the system is also saying that the non-white kids aren’t as smart as the white kids..If a student, regardless of race, gets a 90% on a math test. That’s their mark!.This whole idea of “white privilege” is a complete joke..The developed countries are racially integrated..When a student tries out for the football team, they are evaluated on how well they play football. Does the coach pick players who suck or does the coach pick the players that can win games? The coach picks the players who can win..Everything in life is based on skill and knowledge..When kids leave the woke school system where everyone gets a trophy and arrives in the job market. They must be shocked these days!.Your employer doesn’t care about your race or gender. They care you can do the job that they hired you for..For example, I’m a journalist. I was hired to report the news and write opinion pieces such as this column. If I don’t fulfil my job requirements, the Western Standard will find someone who can do the job..I had a discussion with another journalist this week about some woke ideologies that other journalists are pushing. During the conversation, I said that I would rather be right and hated than wrong and loved..It’s time that good people stopped getting ostracized and penalized for things they weren’t a part of.
