RED DEER — Calgary Conservative MP Stephanie Kusie will present the keynote address at the Canada Strong and Free Network (CSFN) Regional Conference this weekend. .“I think there’s so much momentum coming off Pierre Poilievre’s win,” said Kusie in a Friday interview. .“As the Alberta co-chair for his campaign, I thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to share that story of that momentum.” .The Calgary Midnapore MP said her keynote speech will allow her to “share the behind the scenes of how our team did it, how we spread our message and got Canadians and Conservative members to be a part of our message of freedom.” .Her speech will include talking about being asked to come on as Poilievre’s Alberta campaign co-chair and talk about the experience. She will share stories of people who voted for Poilievre and what they went through to bring in their ballots. .The Conservative MP said Poilievre is passionate about youth engagement. She will speak about what can be done to ensure young people vote for the Conservatives and keep the momentum going. .While she supported Poilievre because of his proposals to lower taxes and promote freedom, she said it goes deeper because of “the strong solid bond not only through ourselves but through our families.” .Her husband worked for him before he was a cabinet minister, and his mother lives in her riding. .Poilievre endorsed her during her Conservative nomination race. She supported him out of loyalty. .Kusie said she was relieved and jubilant when Poilievre won the Conservative leadership race. She added she was fortunate to be in the room when it was confirmed he won. .Poilievre campaign advisor Michael Wilson will be delivering the keynote speech with her.
