Strathmore RCMP is seeking assistance identifying some ne'er-do-wells responsible for cattle rustling in Wheatland County, AB. .A farmer was left wondering what in tarnation after six longhorn cattle were herded out of a pasture located near Hwy. 564 and RR. 262 on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning, according to a Thursday press release. .RCMP said it is believed the thieves mosied on over to the cattle for the big round-up, loading and hauling them from the location using a truck and trailer. .The cattle the varmints took are described as a mix of red and black steers and heifers weighing about 600 lbs each.
