Wildrose Independence Party leader Paul Hinman says it will take a high level of vote-splitting from him to win the byelection in the riding of Fort McMurray-Lac La Biche..Hinman told the Western Standard he hopes he needs to garner 35% of the vote on March 15 for him to win against UCP candidate Brian Jean..He said NDP candidate Ariana Mancini will have to get the support of 25-30% of the vote to allow him to sneak up the middle..“Campaigning is going very well at the door — 35% is what we are looking at,” Hinman said..“[The] Conservative vote is historically between 65 and 70% we need have of them to beat Brian.
