The convoy was to protest vaccine mandates implemented by the federal government. .Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his Liberal government invoked the Emergencies Act for the first time in history on February 14, 2022, which gave officials the ability to implement extreme measures such as more police force and freezing Canadians’ bank accounts. .Meanwhile, Marazzo has released a book documenting the events of January and February 2022, and now has drafted The Canadian Citizens Declaration of Non-Confidence, which is being circulated on Twitter. .Marazzo is leading a “reluctant but essential call for reform.” He hopes to find “a courageous MP” who will endorse it and raise the non-confidence in Parliament.
