Harvest Bible Church pastor Aaron Rock said his three remaining COVID-19 charges have been dropped. .“I believe the Church is Christ’s embassy, separate from the state, and the civil government has no authority over her ministry and worship,” said Rock in a Wednesday tweet. .Rock said he believes “humans are more than biotic beings and lockdowns were harmful to our spiritual, social, economic, and mental health.” He added he believes it's immoral to penalize people for exercising bodily autonomy over vaccines. .For those beliefs, he received six charges — three of which were dropped earlier this year. .The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) said in February charges against Rock were withdrawn at the request of the Crown attorney in Windsor. .READ MORE: COVID charges against Windsor pastor dropped.“I am pleased to see Crown attorneys across the province are taking a more reasonable and practical approach to prosecuting these types of offences,” said JCCF-funded lawyer Christopher Fleury..He was alleged to have breached the Reopening Ontario Act by hosting a religious service with more than 10 people. .Rock went on to say he was “grateful for this, for how God has matured my faith over the past 3 years, and for the 700+ new people who now call Harvest Bible Church their home.” .All remaining funds for his case will be given to help people fight similar charges.
