We have set specific weather parameters for the walk to ensure the birds’ safety & welfare. We’re hopeful to resume the walk tomorrow if parameters are met. We apologize for any inconvenience,” the zoo said in a tweet..Calgarians woke up to temperatures of -30C, a nippy -43C when the wind chill is factored in..At the South Pole, the rest of their flightless buddies are suffering in -37C temperatures that feels like -51C with the windchill.
