BC NDP agriculture minister Pam Alexis has been defeated by BC Conservative challenger Reann Gasper.Gasper, a political newcomer, bested the incumbent by nearly 3,000 votes.According to Elections BC, with all five advance voting ballot boxes and 15 of 16 final voting day ballot boxes accounted for, Gasper garnered 13,224 votes, or 55.67%.
