Canadian Armed Forces veteran James Topp will be joined by People’s Party of Canada (PPC) leader Maxime Bernier for his arrival in Ottawa..Topp has been marching across Canada in the fight to restore Canadians' freedoms.."Maxime will be marching the last kilometres with Topp on Thursday in the last stretch of the march as he arrives in Ottawa," the PPC said..On Thursday at 10:00 a.m., Bernier will meet James outside the capital city for the last few kilometres of his journey and then they will have an event with speeches at the war memorial monument when they arrive in Ottawa.."James Topp is a hero of the freedom movement, like the truckers and all those who have fought against government tyranny over the past two years," Bernier told the Western Standard in an email.."It's unconscionable that the mainstream media haven't covered his march at all. They cover every small demonstration by left-wing activists with ridiculous demands. But nothing about a man who lost his job in the army because of his convictions. He walked across the country and met thousands of people to raise awareness about the loss of our fundamental rights.".Bernier says that's why he wanted to walk with him for the last kilometres as he arrives in Ottawa.."His initiative deserves our complete support," Bernier said.
