Especially on the left. .When New Zealand ran out of money in the 1980s, Labour Finance Minister Roger Douglas privatized numerous agencies, moving tens of thousands of employees off the public payroll and into the private sector. When asked how he could do such a thing, he responded: “Oh that’s very simple.
