If an incompetent mob like that can take over the United States government then there really is a problem in Washington..Despite the idiocy of it all, there are still people languishing in jail for just being innocent bystanders. So with formal hearings starting this week, they have decided to go with the full primetime treatment and hired James Goldston, the former president of ABC News, to ensure they get it right..With Joe Biden as president, the Dems have little to celebrate these days. The southern border is a disaster with illegal immigrants crossing at will and there’s another migrant caravan due any day. Biden won’t even visit the border let alone admit there’s a problem. Inflation is soaring and gas prices have hit $10 a gallon in California. America is running out of everything — including baby food..It’s difficult at times to know if Biden is emulating Trudeau or if Trudeau is aping the American president. When Trudeau calls his political opponents Nazis and racists, Biden calls his enemies white supremacists and domestic terrorists. On Wednesday night he went on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to answer some softball questions from a stridently Democratic late night “comedian” and describe an alternate universe where people are always asking him why he is always “so square” in his politics. This was on the same day as a pro-abortion activist turned himself in before he could kill Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh..Biden hasn’t exactly discouraged the abortion activists from hounding the Trump-appointed judges and literally standing outside their doorsteps, but Kimmel didn’t ask questions about that..The Summit of the Americas is turning into another PR disaster for Biden. Only “like-minded” countries were invited, so that meant Cuba and Venezuela couldn’t come. But with the U.S. and Canada crushing dissent like Cuba and Venezuela, it wasn’t clear how unlike-minded these pariah states were..Then Mexico told Biden that he could shove his conference and they would catch up with Biden sometime in July. Besides, they had to push a migrant caravan into the U.S..It just demonstrated again how nobody is taking Biden very seriously — except Trudeau of course, because these two are really like-minded..So Biden — and perhaps Trudeau — have a lot to gain from the January 6 Committee. Biden somehow needs to compromise the November midterm elections that the Republicans are poised to win in a landslide, taking the House of Representatives and the Senate with huge majorities. If Biden can repeat the mail-in voting and ballot harvesting of the 2020 presidential election, it might bolster Democratic odds. If the Democrats can smear the Republicans as insurrectionists, it might accrete their electoral support. .Of course it’s a long shot. But it’s the only shot that Biden and the Democrats have right now..So how does this benefit Trudeau. Well, he needs to continue to characterize the Freedom Convoy as being white supremacists and insurrectionists. But, you say, they didn’t even enter a federal building. No, they didn’t promote white supremacy, dance on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, commit arson in an apartment building or pack firearms, but that didn’t stop the Trudeau government and the municipal government from lying about that. .There is an overall strategy here and it is one shared by both Trudeau and Biden: demonize your enemy and never let up.
