Dermott wrapped the top of his stick with Pride Tape during the Coyotes' 2-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks at home. While the NHL had banned theme night jerseys, it clarified later player uniforms and gear worn in warmups, practices and games cannot be altered to reflect them. That meant Pride Tape on sticks would be banned.
