Grande Prairie RCMP have laid sex crime charges against educational assistant Brooke Richer, 23. RCMP received a report of a potential inappropriate relationship between Richer and a youth on September 28, according to a Friday press release. RCMP said it proceeded to conduct an investigation and charged her with sexual assault, sexual exploitation and luring a child. She was taken before a justice of the peace and released from custody. Her next court date will be at the Alberta Court of Justice in Grande Prairie on November 8. This ordeal comes after Caroline, AB, teacher Tyler Kanten, 42, was charged with sexual assault and sexual interference after an alleged incident with a minor in 2022.
