The RCMP in Alberta has located a wanted male — who has a history of crimes against children — for violent offences..On May 27, at 8:20 p.m., the Mounties located and arrested Jason Hipson, 45, without incident near a gas station in Palisades Way in Sherwood Park..Hipson was convicted between 2005 and 2007 in Yarmouth, NS, of the following offences: robbery, use of imitation firearms, break and enter, sexual interference and sexual assault — crimes committed against a 12-year-old..The most recent incident that he was wanted for involved a women in her early 50s who was admitted to an area hospital with severe injuries to her entire body after allegedly being held captive by Hipson.."Hipson was transported to the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP detachment where he will be held for a Judicial Interim Release Hearing to determine his release," the RCMP stated.
