The four-year-old Airdrie, AB, child who was found in medical distress on October 3 has succumbed to his injuries. The child passed away in hospital on Sunday, according to a Tuesday press release. Upon arrival, it was discovered bystanders had removed the child from the neighbourhood pond and administered medical care until EMS arrived. EMS transported the child via ground ambulance to a Calgary hospital.
